Math Workshops for Parents Offered

The Prince William County Public Schools’ Office of Mathematics is offering workshops for parents. These workshops are interactive sessions which focus on developing computational fluency with addition and subtraction or multiplication and division in the elementary grades.

December 9^th, 10:00 – 11:30 p.m. @ Independent Hill, Administration Building, rm. 244

Topic: Multiplication and Division in the Elementary Grades
November 20^th, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. @ Independent Hill, Administration Building, Cafeteria
December 10^th, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. @ Independent Hill, Administration Building, rm. 244

At the Montclair Elementary Scholastic Chess Tournament held on March 31st, our 
elementary (4-5) team finished 7th overall, 
while the primary (k-3) team earned 
4th overall--both earning trophies. 
 We had two members earn 
individual medals for their performances.
