Prince William County Schools Technology Plan 2007 - 2009
Prince William County Public School's Office of Instructional Technology and Department of Information Technology developed a three year plan for technology based on the Virginia state technology plan. Areas of focus are:

Virginia Technology Plan 2003 - 2009 
The Board of Education’s technology plan for Virginia has two major purposes:
- presents a vision for the use of technology in schools and classrooms
- serves as a blueprint for school divisions by identifying the necessary components of an effective technology program.
The state plan is an organized, comprehensive, coordinated approach to the use of technology in teaching and learning environments.
