Stonewall Jackson High School's Charise Rodriguez Earns U.S. Army Marching Band Spot

Charise Rodriguez, a senior at Stonewall Jackson High School, has been selected from among 1,237 applicants as a member of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band.  She is one of 97 high school marching band musicians from across the country chosen for this honor. Rodriguez will join other honorees performing at the half-time show on Saturday, January 9 at the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.

Rodriguez, a trombone player, was recognized during an assembly held in her honor in the school’s auditorium on Thursday, October 29.
