ADVISORY COUNCIL

PURPOSE

  • The Adult Education Advisory Council provides advice and assistance in order to improve the operation of the Adult Education Program in Prince William County Public Schools.
  • The Council helps to provide direction for the Adult Education Program, assists in providing information to the public, and periodically reviews the effectiveness of the program.
MEETINGS

 

  • The Council normally meets on the third Tuesday of September, November, February, and April.  A calendar of meetings will be established at the first meeting each school year.
  • Meetings are usually held at the Adult Learning Center at Independent Hill from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
  • Any individual wishing to speak or make a presentation to the Council must contact the Adult Education Coordinator at least three working days prior to the meeting.  Each speaker's presentation will be limited to three minutes.  Deviation from these requirements may occur only with the consent of the majority of members present.
