DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Benefits are important to employees and make up a significant portion of an employee's "total compensation package."  To ensure that employees are knowledgeable about their benefit package, the Benefits Office conducts new employee orientations and seminars throughout the year.  Enrollment materials are processed by the staff and payroll deductions are put in place.

 

CRITICAL FUNCTIONS & ACTIVITIES
  • Provide retirement estimates. 
  • Process VRS retirement forms 
  • Enroll retirees in the Retirement Opportunity
    Program (ROP)
MISSION STATEMENT

To provide information and assistance to employees enrolling in various benefit programs, retiring, or resigning from Prince William County Public Schools.
