FIT AND HEALTHY SCHOOLS
GOVERNOR'S PHYSICAL FITNESS AWARDS PROGRAM
This program's purpose is to provide incentive and the opportunity to develop a healthy habit of daily activities for all Prince William County School employees. This program supports the Wellness Policy that was adopted by the PWC School Board in June of 2006. Click here for activity log.
Please send completed logs to Fred Milbert's office. Make sure that you include your school/department on the form. Forms are due to Fred Milbert no later than April 30, 2009. If you choose to send your form directly to Richmond, please contact our office via email at milberfa@pwcs.edu with the date you submitted the form.

ALL COUNTY HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION EXPO
The All County Health and Physical Education Expo will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 - location to be determined.
The 2010 All County Health and Physical Education Expo is a community participation event, designed to recognize outstanding student achievement and showcase the best practices in the health and physical education departments in our schools. Interactive activities for the whole family include a Family Fitness Fun Run, Line Dancing, Group Fitness, Obstacle Course, Archery, First Tee and Birdie Ball Golf, PE Dance Program, School Bicycle Program Demonstration, hands on sport league sessions, fire and safety, health screenings, and more!
The 2009 All County Health and Physical Education Expo was a huge success due to the efforts of all involved - health and physical education teachers, students, parents, administrators and the community business partners.
NATIONAL PHYSICAL EDUCTION AND SPORT WEEK
National Physical Fitness and Sports Month is an annual observance held each May to emphasize the value of physical fitness and sport education and to encourage public support for quality physical education programs. National Physical Fitness and Sports Month is sponsored by the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education.
Each school is encouraged to plan activities to recognize the contribution of physical education and sports to the students in Prince William County Schools.
