All dance courses and departmental activities are intended to accomplish the following goals: develop artistic and creative potential through a sequentially developed curriculum in all dance courses; provide performance opportunities at an appropriate level; increase an appreciation of dance as an art form; develop an understanding of other art forms and their relationship to dance; establish an understanding of sound movement principles; maintain a standard of excellence; establish community involvement through volunteer service and performances; instill a sense of ethics and professionalism.

DANCE IN PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY

The CFPA Dance Program presented their Annual Winter Dance Concert in December. It was a beautiful performance combining dance movement, intricate choreography, lighting, music, and costume. Featured dance numbers pictured above: "Bold Lustrous Souls" and pictured below: "Bicycle Nuttiness."
