ABOUT ENTERPRISE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Enterprise LogoEnterprise Elementary School was named for the space shuttle USS Enterprise. Enterprise was the first Space Shuttle built for NASA. It was constructed without engines or a functional heat shield, and was therefore not capable of space operations; its purpose was to perform test flights in the atmosphere. The Space Shuttle made its debut in 1981 as the new U.S. launch vehicle for human spaceflight in Earth orbit. Enterprise was moved to the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles, where it is the centerpiece of the space collection.

WHAT MAKES ENTERPRISE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL UNIQUE?

Enterprise is a family oriented school for both staff and community alike. Our families know they are vital to our school and its success. The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is the parent representative group that works closely with the school staff to support a respectful and engaging culture and spirit at Enterprise. As a team, we are actively engaging the BALDRIDGE school model for learning and working collaboratively with the School Advisory Council to bring the very best learning opportunities and environment to our students.
