Lake Ridge Middle School opened in September 1989 and was named for the community surrounding it. The school was dedicated on April 26, 1990 under the leadership of its first principal, Ronald Keeler. |

| ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS & EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES | |
LRMS hosts a variety of clubs including lacrosse, art, and the Wolves Against Drugs group. The school's Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Club (FCCLA) is also actively involved in community outreach programs, working with Katrina Relief, Turning Points, and programs supporting our troops.
