| ABOUT PATTIE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL |
The second building replaced the Washington-Reid building and is named in honor of John F. Pattie, Sr., a former school board member and community leader in Dumfries. As the area expanded, Washington-Reid was reopened to accommodate the kindergarten and first grade students, while students in second through fifth grades continue to attend the Pattie building. |
