ABOUT VAUGHAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

 

Elizabeth Vaughan Elementary School was named after Elizabeth Vaughan, a teacher and principal in Prince William County Schools from 1925 to 1947. The school was opened in 1965.

COMMUNITIES SERVED

Vaughan Elementary School receives students from a variety of communities: including, Navy Housing, Lakeside, Rollingwood, Elm Farm, Longview/Matthews, Forest Vista, Caton Hill, Summerland Heights/Gableridge, Horner Road/Gar-Field Place, and Several Area Day Cares.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Special programs offered are Compass Learning, Writing Pictures, and 8 Step Process.

Enrichment programs include Saturday Strategic Learning Institute and Early Bird Catches the Learn.
