The Virtual High School was created to offer alternatives to students in PWCS and surrounding districts for credit completion. Students may take 1 course per session and must attend a base school. Tuition is charged per course.
We have 19 courses in several subject areas including two Health and PE courses.
The VHS serves all PWCS communities as well as surrounding districts.
Distance learning programs are on the rise nationally in both high schools and universities. The VHS @ PWCS provides a challenging educational opportunity for students to earn full course credit in either a six or sixteen week online course. We offer high quality SOL-aligned courses that provide students with an independent and individualized learning experience. The VHS @ PWCS provides knowledge and skills for 21st century learners and takes great pride in offering students a real choice in their educational experience.
