EL Programs and Services
The Office of EL Programs and Services oversees and maintains services provided to ELs and immigrant youth in support of state and federal regulations. The main functions are to provide comprehensive registration services and ensure high-quality school-based programs that assist ELs to reach proficiency in English while meeting and exceeding state content standards. The Global Welcome Center responds to requests for information and assesses for EL Program eligibility. Instructional Services supports educators in implementing best practice techniques for ELs. Translation Services facilitates communication with families of ELs.

Weather-Related Delayed/Canceled Policy
In the event of a delayed opening to the PWCS school day, the Global Welcome Center offices will open at 10 a.m. Every effort will be made to reschedule the missed appointments to another time on the same day. Please call the Welcome Center office to make arrangements for an appointment time that meets your needs.
