October 9 Conference on Nontraditional Education

School administrators, teachers, and support professionals in the Washington metropolitan area are invited to attend a conference on Monday, October 9, on non-traditional education. Workshop sessions will cover research-based best practices, effective models of collaboration, and strategies for differentiated instruction. The conference will be held at PACE West School, 14490 John Marshall Highway in Gainesville, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  

Keynote speaker Tara Brown, also known as “The Connection Coach,” is passionate about the power of relationships to shift attitudes, transform culture, and unleash potential. An award-winning educator, author, and speaker, Brown is recognized as a leading expert in helping adults better understand today’s youth.  

Educators from school divisions outside PWCS should contact the Office of Student Management and Alternative Programs at 703.791.8577 to register.
