Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2015!
The School of Practical Nursing is designed for high school seniors and adults. The course is 18 months in length. The preclinical and clinical instruction each run 9 months and follow the public school calendar for holidays and vacations. The preclinical phase is offered at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas.
Clinical experience is provided at Sentara Potomac Hospital, Birmingham Green, Westminister at Lakeridge, and other clinical sites throughout the county. This 9 months of supervised clinical practice begins in September after successful completion of the preclinical year. Students are involved in direct patient care and classroom activities for 7-8 hours each day during the clinical phase of study.
