PWCS Students Win Big at Literary Festival

Faadil Mohammed, a freshman at Osbourn Park High School, won first place at the Gaithersburg Book Festival with his short story, “Hell-th Insurance.” Colgan High School’s Shelby Bailey tied for third place and won Fan Favorite with her story, “Spotless.” For the second year in a row, Noami Kline from Osbourn Park High School was a finalist in the competition. Congratulations to all three PWCS students for making it to the finals and to our winners:

  • Naomi Kline – Osbourn Park High School, grade 11;
  • Shelby Bailey – Colgan High School, grade 11; and
  • Faadil Mohammed – Osbourn Park High School, grade 9.
