PWCS students earn five Apple Scholar Scholarships

The 5 PWCS Apple FCU WinnersApple Federal Credit Union (Apple FCU) Education Foundation offered 29 Apple Scholar Scholarships for $5,000 to students in Northern Virginia. Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) had five seniors, out of 400 applicants receive scholarships to both two-year and four-year colleges and universities.

The Apple FCU Education Foundation is dedicated to the advancement and impact of education on the local community. This dedication to students culminates every year in the Apple Scholars Breakfast with the presentation of the scholarships. Apple FCU Education Foundation looks at many criteria to award their scholarships, including strong academics and dedication and commitment that students bring to help their schools and/or local communities.

The five winners from PWCS are:
Elena Bosack, Stonewall Jackson High School
Matthew Cinnamon, Forest Park High School
Elizabeth Meldrum, Brentsville District High School
Johannah Suegay, Battlefield High School
Matthew Trang, Patriot High School
